Marvin’s Work
Marvin’s primary goal in his work is to make sure the people that he's working with feel fully seen and understood. In all aspects of his work, Marvin sees people as human before anything else and truly wants to make sure you’re in a welcoming and affirming space before the work even starts.
Marvin brings with him the values of trust, authenticity, community, justice, and love into every space he occupies. He seeks to bring out the best in you and/or your organization, while also offering helpful feedback and guidance in a way that promotes growth and feels most supportive to whomever he works with.
He will meet you where you are, and simultaneously challenge you to identify and work to remove any barriers blocking you from success.
Marvin believes everyone has power and he wishes to help folks unlock their own gifts throughout the process.
What People Are Saying
“Working with Marvin will transform your experience as a social worker!
As soon as I completed my initial consultation, I knew that I would be reaching out to Marvin for years to come… I continue to be absolutely amazed at how Marvin is able to help me feel seen, heard, safe, and valued each time we meet. Working with Marvin will leave you feeling refreshed, empowered, and re-connected to what lights you up about this work!

“Marvin was a guest on my podcast, Let's Talk Bruh, in 2021. His candor and wisdom made for one of our best episodes of the year.
During our episode we talked about Black men embracing vulnerability and Marvin is someone who leads by example by creating the safe space for Black men to be our full selves inside and outside his office.
Marvin is a brilliant brother and I can't wait to work with him again.”
